Pennsylvania "SPECIAL FISH
WARDEN" Badge Circa 1939

A very nice combo.. badge, signed & dated
(1939) document and a photo of
Mr. William Roach. Mr. Roach was issued this
badge by the commonwealth
which permitted him to enforce fishing laws in
all counties of Pennsylvania.

Note: Badge measures 1.5" in diameter..

These badges were in use until the 1960's,
when a transition to a modern, shield style
silver badge took place. I believe that officers
where allowed to keep their old badge
when they were issued the new
shield style badge.
